Spring Lambing

We have some of the finest, traditional, true to type, Corriedale sheep in the country. Originally registered with The American Corriedale Association, our foundation flock are direct descendants of National champions. However, raising sheep while simultaneously trying to run our cottage industries moved us away from any notion of raising breeding stock and being on the the show circuit.

We originally chose Corriedale sheep for their thick fleeces which stand up well to wind driven rain – a common occurrence during the cold winter months on the island. Corriedales originated in New Zealand, from a Lincoln-Merino cross. They are medium sized, dual-purpose sheep bred for both their superior meat and wool.
